Goldband
The boys of Goldband are undeniable kings of pop anthems, but also go deeper than that. Between bombastic hits, you will find small, intimate songs and influences from all kinds of genres such as synthpop, rave, drum ‘n bass, funk, blues and rock. At our sister festival Wildeburg, they did one of their first shows in 2019 and returned in 2022 when they exploded into an act of stature. The curatorship for Wilde Weide is a very nice next step in this collaboration and they are going to amaze with a programme full of surprising choices

Joep Beving
Neo-classical pianist and composer Joep Beving has a broad musical outlook. With the album ‘Vision of Contentment’, which he made with Maarten Vos and was mixed by Nils Frahm, he shifts between synths and piano, between romanticism and melancholy. His connection with electronic music led to remixes of his work by Colin Benders, Afrodeutsche and Max Cooper. We will also see this affinity reflected in his curated programme.

Pip Blom
Dutch indie pride with a beautiful voice and frontwoman of the eponymous band: Pip Blom cannot be pinned down to one musical style. Their most recent album ‘Bobbie’ (2023) introduced synthesisers, drum machines and electro alongside rattling guitars. Exploring new territory is something that's important to us too. With tonnes of stage experience and after years of touring all over the world, Pip knows exactly where the (international) talent can be found.
